Twins 1st: Bobby Kielty hit a long two-run homer to right on a 2-1 pitch. Cone left the game after one inning and 31 pitches.

Red Sox 1st: Grebeck, Hatteberg and Bichette went down 1-2-3.

Red Sox 2nd: Ramirez led off with a shot over the right-center field fence off a 2-2 pitch from Brad Thomas.

Twins 3rd: A Grebeck-Merloni-Daubach double play ended a Twins rally.

Red Sox 3rd: Bichette doubled with two outs. Ramirez walked. Everett singled, Bichette scored. Ramirez scored on Thomas’s wild pitch.

Red Sox 4th: Craig Grebeck had an RBI double and Scott Hatteberg hit a two-run homer off Kyle Lohse.

Twins 5th: Edwin Diaz doubled home two runs off Trever Miller.

Red Sox 5th: Troy O’Leary hit his team-leading third HR.

Twins 9th: Edwin Diaz’s RBI double tied the score.

Twins 11th: Chad Moeller hit an RBI single off of Brian Williams and Jason Maxwell’s two-run triple provided the final margin.

A crowd of 4,526 attended the game at City of Palms Park. That was the lowest gathering, home or road, this spring to see the Red Sox in Grapefruit League action.

Shea Hillenbrand, getting a look at third base, fielded three grounders without a miscue. He went 3-for-5 at the plate with a run scored.

The Twins are 4-0 this spring against Boston.
